Moraine Park s Virtual Office Assistant program is designed to provide individuals with the skills to perform fundamental office functions in a variety of business settings.
The coursework trains students to use advanced word processing skills, produce business documents, maintain and retrieve files/records, perform basic accounting functions, create spreadsheets and databases, and provide customer service.
The courses from this program can be directly transferred into Moraine Park s Administrative Coordinator Associate of Applied Science degree should students choose to continue their education.

A program that requires its students to demonstrate they have successfully acquired a set of skills or knowledge base prior to completing the program. Compare to a "time-based" training program that results in successful completion if the students participate in a certain number of instructional hours.
This program is offered
Program applications are accepted until a week prior to the start of each semester. There are some exceptions for programs or certificates that begin mid-semester.
Some high-demand/limited-enrollment programs reach capacity based on the number of students who complete admission. Applicants are accepted into limited-enrollment programs on a first-come, first-served basis and are admitted from program waitlists as space becomes available.

Advisory board committee members from area businesses provide guidance and direction on curriculum and program outcomes.
